Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act Notice
Notifying the Public of Rights Under Title VI Albemarle Regional Health Services d/b/a Inter-County Public Transportation Authority (hereafter referred to as “Transit System”)
The Transit System operates its programs and services without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age or disability in accordance with applicable federal statues:
- Title II of the Americans with Disability Act
- Title VI of the Civil Rights Act.
Any person who believes they have been aggrieved by any unlawful discriminatory practice under the above listed federal statues may file a complaint with the Transit System using either the Title VI Complaint Form, which is a component of the Title VI Plan, or the ADA compliant Form, which is a component of the ADA Policy, which can be found in the PDF documents listed below.
All requests for reasonable modifications to ARHS-ICPTA’s policies or procedures will be considered on an individual basis. ARHS-ICPTA encourages people to request such modifications in advance when possible. To request a modification of a policy or procedure in advance, complete the attached Request for Modification Form.
